Mid.Coach ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at mid.coach and provides personalized League of Legends coaching services. This policy explains how we handle your personal data.

We collect the following personal data:

• Email address — when you subscribe to our email guides or purchase a coaching session.
• Discord username — collected at checkout so we can contact you to schedule your session.
• Payment information — handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We only receive a transaction confirmation.
• Usage data — anonymized information about how you use the site (pages viewed, clicks, device type) collected via cookies and analytics tools.
• Coaching session content — VOD reviews, OP.GG analysis, and personalized notes are kept private between you and your coach. We do not share, publish, or use them for marketing.

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To deliver the coaching service you purchased
• To send you the email guides you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• To process payments and prevent fraud
• To improve the website and understand how it's used
• To comply with legal obligations (tax records, accounting)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract — to deliver coaching sessions you purchased.
• Consent — for email marketing (when you subscribe) and non-essential cookies (when you accept them).
• Legitimate interest — for fraud prevention and basic site functionality.
• Legal obligation — for tax records and other regulatory requirements.

We use the following third-party services (sub-processors) to operate the site. Each handles your data under their own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Brevo (Sendinblue) — email delivery for our newsletter
• PostHog — product analytics
• Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics
• Vercel — website hosting and deployment analytics

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share your coaching session content with anyone outside of your assigned coach.

We use cookies for two purposes: to remember which version of the site you're seeing in our A/B tests (so your experience is consistent), and to measure how the site is used via PostHog and Google Analytics. You can block or clear these at any time through your browser settings, or opt out of analytics by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

We keep customer data (email, Discord, payment records) for as long as is necessary to deliver the service and comply with tax/legal obligations — typically 7 years after the last transaction. Email newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's retention policy.

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention)
• Withdraw consent for marketing or analytics at any time
• Object to processing
• Request that we stop processing your data
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Some of our sub-processors (Stripe, PostHog, Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are protected under the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses and the providers' own GDPR compliance frameworks.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify subscribers by email where required.
